Trees & Hedges FAQs

Common questions about our trees and hedges service.

How often should hedges be trimmed?
Most hedges benefit from trimming once or twice a year — typically once in late spring and again in late summer. We'll advise on the right schedule for your hedge type and condition.
Do you remove all cuttings and debris?
Yes. Full cleanup is included as standard. We remove all clippings and debris from site before we leave. Alternatively if you have somewhere you'd like us to move green waste we'd be happy to do so, though waste disposal charges will still apply.
Can you reduce an overgrown hedge?
Yes — we can assess overgrown hedges and carry out staged reduction. Some hedges need careful management over more than one season to avoid stress to the plant. We'll advise on the best approach on site.
