These terms and conditions govern the services provided by Lennon Landscaping (“we”, “our”, or “us”) to our customers (“you”). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Our Services
We provide landscaping, gardening, and related services across Duhallow, Sliabh Luachra, and Lee Valley. The specific scope of each engagement is agreed upon at the time of quoting. We reserve the right to decline any job that is outside our capabilities or that we deem unsafe.
2. Quotes
- All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Quotes are based on information available at the time of assessment. If conditions on site differ materially from what was quoted, we will notify you before proceeding with any additional work.
- Verbal quotes are estimates only and are not binding.
3. Booking & Scheduling
- A booking is confirmed once you accept a written quote and we agree a date.
- We will make every reasonable effort to attend on the agreed date. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather, emergencies), we will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange.
- We ask that you provide reasonable access to the property on the agreed date.
4. Payment
- Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For larger projects, we may request a deposit prior to commencement, as agreed in the quote.
- We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or other methods as agreed.
- Overdue invoices may be subject to interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment in Commercial Transactions Regulations.
5. Cancellations
- If you need to cancel or postpone, please give us at least 48 hours notice where possible.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a call-out fee to cover travel and preparation costs.
- Any deposit paid is non-refundable if work is cancelled after materials have been purchased.
6. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring we have safe, clear access to the work area.
- Please inform us of any underground services (pipes, cables, etc.) or other hazards before work begins.
- Any existing features, plants, or structures you wish to preserve should be clearly identified before we start.
7. Liability & Insurance
Please note: Lennon Landscaping does not currently hold public liability insurance or employers’ liability insurance. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept this.
- We take care with your property, but we cannot accept liability for accidental damage to property, structures, underground services, or landscaping features during the course of work.
- Clients are responsible for identifying and marking any underground services, fragile structures, or other hazards before work begins. We are not liable for damage to unmarked or undisclosed hazards.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, as required under Irish law.
- We strongly recommend that you maintain adequate home and garden insurance for your property during and after any works.
8. Guarantee
We take pride in our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the job, please contact us within 7 days and we will return to assess and, where reasonable, rectify any issues at no additional cost.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
